How to add Google Analytics to a blog or Blogger
Google Analytics is a well-known tool for website analysis and SEO optimization. Below are the steps to apply it to Blogger.
- Search for Google Analytics on Google and log in to your Google account. Click on "Start measuring".
- Enter the account name.
- Click on the next option and enter the name of the web media resource. Set the time zone and currency.
- Click on advanced options.
- Enter the website domain. If using a naked domain for Blogger, add "www." at the beginning. Click on next.
- Configure the business information.
- Click on create.
- Agree to the terms of service.
- Click on manage.
- Select data streams under media resources.
- Add a data stream and select website.
- Enter the domain and data stream name. Click on create data stream.
- In the code setup instructions, expand the code.
- Copy the code and paste it into the section of the webpage's HTML code.
- After adding the code, click on save. Go back to the Google Analytics dashboard and check if the associated website is displayed as 1, indicating successful addition.
